| My friend
and faire-buddy Cherish Moore gave me this BEEEEE-yoo-tee-ful
little book for my birthday last year. It is a true pleasure
to draw in this little book (the paper is thick soft handmade
and the cover is VERY nice leather) and have steadily been filling
the pages with sam-stories over the last year. Here’s an

i drew this
pretty island girl on the plane when i went to visit j&e
in cali. there was a little turbulence, so i took out my book
because i knew that drawing would distract me. i drew a couple
of other things - the view from my window, a whistling crow
girl - but then i noticed that the bloke across the aisle
from me was watching me draw (maybe it was taking his mind
off the turbulence, too), so i decided to draw something for
his pleasure and amusement too.
